February has been the longest month of the year so far, it seems. Bitterly cold and snowy here in SW Ohio, so much so that we have been out of school for the past week. The President's Day weekend was a scheduled four-day break, but thanks to Mother Nature, it has ended up much longer! So while unfinished student ceramic projects languish in my classroom, I have had some time to play around with lots of new creative projects....a new knitting stitch (courtesy of Amy Kaspar on the LoveKnitting Blog), needle-felting, and my very favorite new toy, a Sizzix Vintage Big Kick metal embossing machine! At this point I'm not sure how all this will eventually come together with my art quilting, knitting, and jewelry making, but it sure is a fine way to pass the time on snowy, cold winter days! Here's a little slide show summary of my creative endeavors: Comments are closed.
