Although I haven't been posting much this past year, it's not for lack of things to share! It's mostly just for lack of time...and energy. Summer was spent visiting with family and friends, a welcome break from another long school year. Of course, before I knew it, August rolled around again and it was time to get back to the classroom. And all of a sudden, here I am, welcoming in another calendar year and wondering how time can pass so quickly!
Here's a quick look at some of the projects I've been working on these past few months, whenever I can sneak in a few hours of time. Lately I've been focusing on knitting because it is just plain relaxing to work with soft, fluffy yarn on a cold winter evening. I found those beautiful green yarns in the center photo at Yarne Source in Pittsford, NY, while visiting with my daughter and her family over Christmas break. Not sure what they will become, but I would love to find a way to use them together!
I am a woman with many hats...artist, retired art teacher, blogger, wife, mother, grandmother. In short, one very busy lady!
